International colloquium on Brother Roger’s Contribution to theological thought
Did Brother Roger have a theology? He did not take
part in academic debates on theology. But he always had friends who were
theologians. And he developed an original outlook, perceptible in his
writings as well as in the life of the community and the young adult
meetings.
Protestant, Orthodox and Catholic theologians from different countries will come to Taizé to highlight various aspects of his thought which can contribute to theological research.

Young
theologians under 40 – theology students, researchers, or those already
involved in church ministry – are invited to come to Taizé from Sunday
30 August to Sunday 6 September for the whole week. The speakers will be
involved from Monday evening to Friday morning. Everyone taking part in
the colloquium will be able to react during times set aside after the
interventions. On Friday and Saturday, a choice of workshops will help
extend and broaden the reflection.
